Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which regulates copyright regime, issued a regulation governing the database related to intellectual rights. The main objective of the database, formed in accordance with additional article 9 of Intellectual and Artistic Works Law numbered 5846, is to collect and share common data with respect to the work, performance, phonogram, production, users, work owners, vocational organizations during investigation and trial.
The common database will include the information on registration, certificate, banderole, producer certificate and information provided by vocational organizations, radio-television organizations, and facilities which produce and reproduce works.
All data collected in the database will be accessible by the respective parties. To benefit from the date, users will have to obtain access code and password for the safe connection.
